diy: easy handstitched tee

I decided to post another diy "project". It was pretty easy, the only thing I found hard was the time needed to sew the whole garment. The story of the fabric is very funny. Me and my cousin were walking through some stores in a dangerous zone (lots of robberys take place there very often) and were searching for soft cotton fabrics. It was impossible to find the perfect material. Suddenly we saw an old fabric laying in a hand truck to cover some stuff a guy was selling. We asked him if he was selling it and he cracked up. We begged because he thought selling his blanket was stupid but finally he accepted.

To do it I just cutted the cloth in half and then in a t shirt shape. Both sides were cutted equally. Then I just hand stitched both parts.

After that I modified the neck to make it larger on the front side. And voila! This looks really badly done but when you wear it it looks like a messy tee. Ive seen some like these in stores so its not that bad haha.

I love your hair colour! I'm thinking of getting the one you have here but I'm not sure how its going to look on my dark brown hair. Could you tell me if you still remember the colour of the hair dye you used to get this colour, it doesnt have to be the exact name just a brief thought for example if it was a mahogony brown or something. That would really help me, thanks!
